Here you will see some beautiful frogs! Rana s. sphenocephala is a beautiful species, and the variety is quite incredible! It was this species in particular that started my interest in the "Fabulous Froggage" project!

These inhabit a wide variety of habitats - everything from fish-filled lakes to temporary marshes, roadside ditches, and even flowing water! They breed during rainy weather mostly, and can be found breeding during every month of the year whenever conditions are right for them, and are very similar to the more-Northern R. utricularia. These were taken in Florida, near St. Augustine and Inverness.
