Thanks to some wonderful people.....

..... I have been blessed with some new froggage, and some new critters for camp!

A wonderful North Carolina sunset

Dave took me out along the roads of rural North Carolina on a perfectly hot and steamy, rainy night, and even though it was the watchful eye of my camera that captured these images, the Hyla chrysocelis and Bufo woodhouseii fowleri would have not been possible if it wasn't for Dave taking me out there! I had no idea where we were, but he knew the roads quite well, and there was new froggage at every turn!

This sunset was seen during our quest for Bufo woodhouseii fowleri, which was a fun species to get images for!

Thanks to camp I have known Dave and his family (they used to live in New Jersey, close to here), and since then they have been perfect hosts, and the perfect place to stop along the way up to camp, and they always seem to have some cool stuff for me to take to camp each year!

The four of us wandered around on a truly beautiful farm, and at dusk we were finding the toads around the farm in many locations, and all had a hand in collecting the toads for these pictures - indeed a very fun species to get :-) The Hyla chrysocelis were taken from roadside ditches, breeding very heavily during the rain the night before.
