In the age of "Smartphones" where you can add your own ringtones from just about anywhere, here are some unique "froggy" ones for you! These are already converted, so simply drop them into iTunes and "sync" your phone for a really cool surprise! :-) These are gathered from choruses of frogs from around the country, and the mp3 of each has been included as well, so you can preview your ringtone first.
PREVIEW! This is a large and noisy chorus of Hyla cinerea mostly, and these will make a great attention-getting ringtone! PREVIEW! Here's a lively chorus of Hyla gratiosa from Northeast Florida, and sadly the habitat from which this audio clip came has been completely destroyed, and lives on only here on Fabulous Froggage! PREVIEW! Here's a mixed chorus of little goodies in this clip, featuring Hyla squirrela, and Scaphiopus holbrookii in the background. PREVIEW! This is a nice Winter chorus of Hyla crucifer bartramiana, and Pseudacris nigrita. PREVIEW! This is a very large chorus on a warm rainy night, and here you'll hear Bufo terrestris, and Hyla squirella. PREVIEW! This is Bufo fowleri, and this will be quite startling in mixed company! :-) PREVIEW! Two noisy little groups of croaksters are heard here! There's the Bufo Quercicus, and the Hyla femoralis. PREVIEW! Here's an amazing chorus of Pseudacris nigrita, Limnaoedus ocularis, Rana sphenocephala, and an overwhelming number of Bufo terrestris! PREVIEW! Here's a couple of Pseudacris nigrita saying a hearty farewell to Winter! PREVIEW! This is a chorus of Acris gryllus dorsalis calling from a pond not too far from a busy highway. PREVIEW! This one is interesting! Here you will encounter a few distant Gastrophryne carolinensis, but the focal point of this particular tone is the strange nightbird called the Chuck-Will's-Widow, not too far from a distant freeway..... and a few crickets! PREVIEW! This one is adorable! If you want a few nice, clear "croaks" rather than a maddening crowd of froggage, this one is for YOU! This is Hyla cinerea, and is a simply-adorable little ringtone! This one will turn every head in the room :-) PREVIEW! Here's the faint, bleating call of Gastrophryne carolinensis, with the recording device held close to them! These are not "loud", and may be a good one to use if you're in an environment where a less-startling tone is preferred! :-) PREVIEW! A STRANGE one here! This is a chorus of Scaphiopus holbrookii, with a distant H. squirella or two, and a single Limnaoedus ocularis. Unless you're out in a monsoon or flood, you're quite unlikely to ever hear these!
