An ongoing picture page.....

...... showing my baby turtles as they grow!

Those of you who have been following "my turtle pages" will now be able to see my babies as they grow, as each year I plan on an annual "photo shoot", and will post the pictures here so you can track their pattern as they grow!

The youngster shown HERE hatched in September 2006, and came from a mating between two of my Beauties! I can hardly wait to see this one as it grows! Only rarely do baby E. Box show such a display of bright head spots like this one has, and both parents are vividly speckled!

This is year number ONE for this one......

.....and hopefully thru the passing of time, this tiny baby will be seen as it grows, here on this online photo journal!
The turtles on this page are from my own collection, and I long to share them with my viewers!

Babies For Sale! All captive-born, and the Wood turtles are all from beautiful parents! There are also Painted turtles (looks like Eastern?), Snapping turtle babies (Cute!), as well as a limited number of Eastern Box Turtles! The 2007 batch is here, and will be sold on a first come/first serve basis! Important note: I cannot sell them to states between Virginia and Minnesota, and to points North of that line, since the sale of these in these areas is forbidden by law.

This picture was taken in September 2006. To see what it looked like in 2005.... simply click on the picture!


At hatching, this one was nothing really all that spectacular, and the small yellow dot on each scale was bright, and yet faded into the background, rather than being bright and vivid, against a black background. The head and neck were a little brighter than normal though, which prompted me to keep him!
