In Quebec!

After an after-dark arrival, the coming daylight revaled a totally remarkable place! The mountains here are incredible, and was warmly welcomed by Sylvain Lacroix, who I now consider to be a very cool friend! He's very pleasant to be with, and this page is dedicated to him.
Even though we may be worlds apart...... we are a lot alike! Anyways this is the awesome view from his front yard!
Sounds of the night
Your ears aren't playing tricks on you! If you just heard a strange sound..... refresh this page and you'll hear it again! This is the sound of the Common Snipe (G. gallinago), which made its hauntingly-different song beginning in the late afternoon, and it continued thru the night. The sound is made with the wings while the bird is in flight.
