Wow...... Leaving there was the HARD part..... but on my way back I got some more cool pictures! I share the BEST of them here with you, as I took a different route back. Sadly I wasn't able to get the BEST areas because of rain. This includes the St. Lawrence River, and the mountains next to it, as well as the highest peaks of the Adirondacks. However I DID get some cool stuff, and here you'll see it as I saw it...... as I left the great Northwoods and returned once again to civilization.

Mont-Saint-Hilaire

Of incredible interest to me is this most unusual mountain! It was visible for many miles, and I was so glad to film it! Actually this is a whole RANGE of mountains...... surrounded by countless miles of totally flat farm land!

See dramatic photos from this mountain from my recent 2007 Fall trip!

This totally cool looking mountain is just East of Montréal, and I'm including a few Weblinks for those of you who like strange and unusual landforms.

Here it is a little closer up, showing it to be a series of mountains...... surrounded strangely by totally flat fields.

A cool link! (There's no direct return to my pages from this link, since this is not one of my own.)

Another look at the area, with a list of the cool animals there.

Here's one MORE look at it. This is close as the freeway got to it, and here the true size can be seen, when compared to the buildings. Again I'm glad to finally know the name of this place!
