Another Beauty (FIVE)

I found this Beauty MYSELF

a number of years ago!

(No, this photo wasn't "enhanced" any, but was taken in the late afternoon, thus causing the "bluish" look).

He was found crossing busy Route 715 - the "Slaughterhouse of Wood turtles" in the region, as it goes thru miles of totally prime habitat! He was found on the very "active" section of the highway between the town of McMichaels and Brodheadsville, in Eastern Pennsylvania........ and of the many Woodies I've seen on that road, he's the only one I've ever found alive!

This one is one of my prettiest, and it was God's perfect timing that allowed me to cross paths with this mostly-yellow-shelled Beauty!
