Douche Bag Alliance began in the spring of 2001 in Ohnson's basement. for a while before that the band was me and timmys joke. On that particular day, we were bored. john and jason were at work or some shit i think. so at any rate me and timmy were chillin and called ohnson and went to "jam" in his basement. once we arrived there we made noise for a couple of hours. we switched off bellowing and playing drums and guitar. we recorded at least most of the mess on a boombox with a shitty computer microphone. we used ohnsons real band headshots equipment cause that was their practice space. that stuff ended up being really shitty. that made sense because ohnson was the only "musician" among us,and he is a drummer. he didnt play drums all that much on that tape. he played the guitar a lot and either tim or i played the drums. neither of us play drums. we practiced again in july of 2001 or thereabouts. this time we bought jay birch along and entertained him for a couple of hours. also this time bass was recorded but not all that well cause once again nobody knew how to play that shit.that crap was recorded too. tim played a show as douche bag alliance at one of my ostc productions shows in roberts wisconsin in september of 2001. he kicked me out that day cause i had to run the door for the gig and wasnt willing to particpate. ohnson didnt show up for that show so tim used some people who were at the show. it was cool. at that point douche bag alliance ended for the first time. in august 2003 out of boredom we got back together. this time with mike benoy on drums and another dude on guitar. tim attempted to play bass. he also bellowed. i bellowed as well. we practiced once in our living room. then we went over to mikes studio and practiced there. we recorded a bunch of terrible songs. not as bad as the other songs though,cause this time we wrote lyrics. plus mike is an accomplished drummer and the other guy was alright on the guitar. in october of 2003 douche bag alliance played again. this time is was at some school thing here in saint paul. i didnt show up. my knee hurt and i had to work that night so i kicked myself out. dba had like 13 members that night and made lots of noise and irritated the sound man and everybody else and fucking did gangsta rap covers too apparently. at some point i think dba broke up again or went on hiatus or something. we were supposed to play in northern wisconsin with kill the white man dead but tim wanted to sleep instead. so mike did nanopico songs with jebs drummer. a few times throughout 2004 dba made drunken appearences in peoples garages and basements with pete playing drums and other folks playing guitar and bass. i think that joe smith played bass in johns basement or some shit. i dont know i didnt go to any of those shows. i was either at work or asleep. in december of 2004 douche bag alliance broke up for the last time. im not sure how many times we broke up but it was lots. it was cool. i guess i lied. tim says dba will soon be again together and shit. not sure why.i must mention that we had 3 cool songs on the first couple of demos. we had "(i wanna skullfuck) your puppy (baby)A.K.A. The Hit Single!","ode to girls(a love ballad)",and "the DxBxAx Comedy Hour". of course this makes no difference to you cause you aint never gonna hear that shit. hardy fucking har. i just had to mention that we had some good songs.
