Valentines Day

" Valentines Day "
poetry by Lee

I was watching the Sun Arising,
As the Dew Settles upon the grass,
"Tis Lovers Time in Early Spring,
And Valentine's Day at last.
As I clicked upon my mailbox,
Flowers began to Bloom,
Her passionate Kiss, just a Hug away,
She'll be comming home, so soon,
I combed my hair so carefully,
Every strand in proper place,
Not too long, Before I go to work,
Only a moments time, for a warm embrace.
Like two Playful Squirrels Flirting about,
And running upon their limb,
They break from their playful moment,
To Embrace their Love within.
And when Valentine's Day is over,
Love Lingers, so far beyond,
It casts it's magical spell forever,
Eternally Holding Its Loving Bond.
'Twas the Season Past, of Last Years Love,
Where new Baby Calls, will Sing,
While Happy Mothers are folding Diapers,
As They Cherish their Wedding Ring.
And Grandmothers in their Rocking Chairs,
With knitting needles gripped in hand,
Holding Soft Little Mittens & Matching Socks,
Reminiscing, the day their love began.
