" Tractor Salesman " poetry by Lee The Tractor was a great invention, For the Farmers, it was nice, Then along came the salesman, To sell this great device. He traveled down the lonely roads, For farmers, that had a need, Helping farmers accomplish work, Was truely his greatest deed. One day while passing by, A farmer plowed with Bull, That man needs a tractor, To the farmer, I must go. Hello sir, I see, that a tractor, Could surely help you out. You could accomplish eight times more, And have some time to rest about, "I've got a Tractor, it's a Beauty," "It's right over in that shed." Sir, if you have a tractor, Why do you work the bull instead? When I came in from the fields, Exhausted, with Sweaty Brows, I saw that Lazy, No good Bull, He was Flirting with the Cows ! Hanging around Old Bessie, I even saw them Dance. I just wamted to show that Bull, That life ain't all romance.
