" School Prayer " poetry by Lee * * * * * With Pencil & Pad, I Sit here in School, Where prayer is unlawful, Violating the rule. With Inadvisable Liberty And Justice for all, Prayer in school, Is now violation of law. * * * * * Scripture in class, We may not recite, For it's a grave violation, Within the Bill of Rights. And if for a moment, My head may just Bow, I Pray, that the Feds, Won't be swarming around. * * * * * We study, Witchcraft, vampires & Totempoles. Yet no word, of God, May Are Ever to Know. Where may we find peace, So Far out of sight When we cast Out Our Lord, Who teaches what's right? * * * * * Now the Bible has Gone And the Evil has Won, Who will protect us, From the, terrible Gun. I ask Late at night, In My Prayers, said in Bed, Lord, please take me to Heaven, When They Shoot me down Dead.
