Rainbows in the Sky Poetry by Lee A little boy was I, At the age of Only two, What would be my future, What job am I to do. Careful Choosing, would be considered, Of what was wrong & right. To mold my future qualities, To last my whole long life. I never planned to be a writer, Nor to be a poet, Our Lord had special plans, Though I did not even know it. My teacher used to ask me, What would I like to be, But I never had an answer, That would occur to me. A century half has faded, And if a question came once more, I'm sure I have a future, But you will have to ask My Lord. Tomorrow will give an answer, Of where my writings leave a trail, And I will tell you little stories, Of the life I knew so well. So if they say I've faded, Please waste no time to cry, I will be busy in the Heavens, Painting Rainbows in the Sky.
