Hawaiian Dream

"Hawaiian Dream"
Poetry by Lee

I was lying on the sandy shore,
Watching the mighty ships come in,
Snuggling the sweetest Hula Girl,
Trees Swaying in the wind.

A grass cloth covered blanket,
Warmed us through the night,
The camp fire still a flickering,
The Moon so very bright.

As she nestled so contently,
Love radiant through my heart,
I hoped to always live this dream,
Especially the loving part.

The morning shined on through my window,
The candle nearly gone,
The ceiling fan stirred gentle breezes,
As the CD played it's songs.

My wife still snuggling closely,
A beautiful smile upon her face,
My Dream was true reality,
In our other favorite place.

She soon was serving breakfast,
Pouring coffee with some cream,
The Lovely Wife I Married,
Is better than any Crazy Dream.
