"Whispers in the Wind" Poetry by Lee I was calling on my True Love, With whispers in the wind, Telling little secrets, That I've always held within. I yelled out to my Darling, Where ever could you be? But my answers kept returning, From the Echos of the Sea. I chanced upon the internet, New communications of our times, As I told Old Jokes & Stories, Yet lingering on my mind. Finding friends, in need of Comfort, Traveling along the way. Writing little untold yearnings, We would never dare to say. One day on Digital City Personals, A Habit of Routine, I chanced to find my perfect Love, The Angel of my Dreams. I told her things about me, And she told me so much more, A few more letters of writing, And I was standing at her door. She was truly a beautiful woman, A notch above my style, There was no holding back, From her mesmerizing smile. Our Lord has truely Answered, With all his Love, Within, He even replied in writing, To my Whisper in the Wind.
