"Dear Diary" Poetry by Lee It Seems I Lost a daughter, Since last year, in Divorce, Steadily, My Daughter's Love, Has run a bit off Course. I Gave her all my Love, And the very best I Had, Now I See the Hatred, Taught by her own Dad. I only wish to warn her, Of the devistation, there will be, If Hatred Overshadows, Of Her Loving Unity. But in the clutches, Of her father, What Really Can I Do ? Listening to Belligerence, With words that are so Cruel. Life is still rewarding, With Children on my Mind, Here I Stand, as Teacher, Until the end of Time. So, if there is no Love at all, No Time to spend with me, I'll be working with my children, Doing my specialty . Reading Stories of Great Adventure, And Life within the Ocean, While learning many wonders, In the school of great devotion. To scale the tower of knowledge, Until it's time to take the test, There my kids will know, That 6th grade is the best.
