"My Injured Swan" Poetry by Lee In the cold dark days of loneliness, Come a warmth of God's Divinity. Our Lord has sent an injured Swan, Who was made, just right for Me. I calmed her fears & built her pride, With All the Love, I had to give. I watch my Swan, stroking Gracefully, For the Land, She wants to Live. Though my heart has sunk, severely So, With a lump, Still in my throat. From this protective land, of the thorny bush, I leave her, with this small note: Go fly away, my beautiful Love, To the Land, That you know Best. For unleashing, the beautiful Swan in you, I know, I've passed the Test. Paint your world in beautiful colors, Live Sweet Life in fullness, to the end. I only Ask, That you tilt your wing, As you pass, by your Old Friend.
