"A Very Wise Fellow" Poetry by Lee A Very Wise Fellow, Once told me a story, Haven't I told you His name? The poor little guy, Was born in a manger, And the World was never the same. He taught me to Love, To be pure Like a Child, I'm not sure, If I do it, so well, But now that He taught me, I write stories too, I hope, that no one will tell. I met him in Matthew, Through the pages of time, No one is better than He, Except for His Father, Who's example He Follows, And Both are a Treasure to see. I am working on Earth, In earning my Wings, To Fly to the Heavens Above, Our Lord has once told me, To enter His Kindgom, We must be as Pure as a Dove. So this I will tell you, In the book of the Bible, His stories, You surely will find. If you Listen To Jesus, Our Lord gives of His blessings, In His Home, So Heavenly divine. Love first of your Enemies, Be kind to your Friends, Let them all know that you care. Soon You will find, With Honesty & Truth, That Love will be found everywhere.
