"Foe or Friend" poetry by Lee I was an Arrogant, love sick puppy, when I was twenty-three, Twitterpated & awesome struck, she seemed just right for me. I found her in a jewelry store, With my brother, I tagged along, We Planned to bond, on the rocky road, no matter what went wrong. Our Three little boys, in little steps, came home, just one by one, Our little treasures of pride & Joy, were all born to join the fun. Later, We had Jessie, Our foster child, that HRS took away, Two months later, His Tennessee Homeland, Is where his body Lay. We fought the world, to make things right, for little ones just Like Him, We left Our Florida Home, To avoid revenge, In Alabama, we begin. Life became a dreadful nightmare, And to Florida we came to Jax, And then I become, two years disabled, Until a doctor fixed my back. Depression took its toll on me, And nearly destroyed her too, And Life become so unbearable, we knew, not what to do. Like fragments of an exploding rock, we scattered across the land, And slowly Our boys reunited, with either their Mom Or Dad. Now time has made us Individuals, Do we Join once more again? And the Question lies, before us, Will we be foe or Friend?
