"Fish Stories" poetry by Lee Roy Dial was by best friend, He rented, apartment from my Dad, He talked about his best friend, Golmer, In a game they called Schazam. From a tree they jumped, wearing cape, Until Golmer broke his arm, Twas the ending of their favorite sport, Though they never meant no harm. Roy Got a date, with my sister, A hair cut, was next in line, He hurried to the barber, Just in the nick of time. The barber was telling, fish stories, In the middle of his cut, Sir, either cut my hair, or get off this bib, I am really in a rush. Searching for another Barber, A lady was honking, on her horn, Lady, if you will fix his broken truck, I can honk until it's morn. He came to Tom the Barber, Who was ready to close his shop, Please Tom, let me in, Joe finished, Only half way on my top. He went out with my sister, His date was a pure delight, He Later told us, a few new stories, That thrilled us through the night.
