"Miracle of Love" poetry by Lee There was a drought and devistation, to the many on the farm, And the little boy, spraying water, He felt there was no harm. His mom gave a lecture, about wasting water from the hose, For at this desperate time, water was greater, than the gold. One day, the little boy, walked so carefully, to the woods, Then run, up to the house, just as fast, as his legs would. Mom got a little curious, and followed him all the way, He was feeding water, from his hands, to a little fawn that lay. Dehidrated and exhausted, the little fawn could barely drink, But the little boy continued, until the fawn was in the pink. The Buck, with Dangerous antlers, showed kind jestures to the boy, As their little baby recovered, was such calm and Silent Joy. His mom was already crying, Soaked with soggy tears, She never saw as much compassion, In all her loving years. As if Jesus too, was weeping, Tears came falling from the Heavens, The rain has come at last, their long awaited blessings. The Boy has gone to Heaven, much too early for his years, But His Mom will never forget, The Time He saved, that Baby Deer.
