"Tears of Love" poetry by Lee midi by Lee When I come from Winter Haven, I worked at Lee’s Fried Chicken, Mechanic was my job, But this was, My Beginning. They showed me all the sinks, Each one a special plan, There is where I worked, And my new life, now began. One manager made potato salad, Who always loved to deviate. He would add so many Onions, He thought, that we’d appreciate. Along would come the boss, To check His special blend, I’ve always liked this job, And to smell your work, my friend, This Love of Labor brings me, So many tears into my eyes, Though, I resist with all my might, It always makes me cry. So if there is a moral to this story, Our tears may show Our Love, But the only thing that matters, Is that they come from God above.
