"The Mirror" poetry by Lee midi by Lee She looks into the mirror, tears dripping from her eyes, My Dear, You are lovely, there is no need to cry. If you had a little wrinkle, I really wouldn't mind, It wouldn't hide your beauty, so Lovely & Divine. And if your smile faded, onward through the years, Perhaps maybe sorrow, has caused some awful tears. Though you may have noticed, that age has come to you, It's ok my love, for it happened, to me too. And where did that young girl, with the smile go? That special part of you, has never changed, you know. Have you lost the twinkle, gleaming in your eye? It was there just yesterday, as I was passing by. You say you don't look pretty, And not so very young, Honey you're not old, and life has just begun. So search the mirror again, the see what you may find, That handsome man, that Loves You, Is not so far behind.
