" The Compliment" poetry by Lee midi by Lee A little boy, once wrote a letter, To a Russian leader, across the sea, Forgive me Sir, for interrupting, Do you have a moment Free? I am sure that you are busy, Like so many days before. Maybe there will be plenty of time, If no one would start them awful wars. I think you’re doing a real good job, And my Mom sure thinks so too. I just had to take a moment, To say, that we Love You. The Leader got all choked up, And started writing on his pad, I really loved your letter Son, You're right, these wars are bad. I invite your Mom & You, To my castle if you like, Your company would be a pleasure, And to me a pure delight. I am sending you some tickets, In case you wish to come, We could tour around my country, And have a little fun. They both took up the offer, And came just for a week, But when the week was over, To depart, would be too bleak. He was a terrorist to his country, An awful threat unto the world. But to her, a Loving Husband, The Father, Her Son adored.
