" Buster the Dog" poetry by Lee midi by Lee I was getting awfully Lonely, My heart was really down, I was comming home, Down & out, Couldn’t loose that awful frown. Skiing down the sandy road, Struggling to keep the bike upright, I came across My Little Friend, Our precious furry Tike. He barked when I come in the yard, In a lively, cheerful dance, I thought I would come And visit, And maybe take a nap. We rolled around, & wrestled too, We took some time to Hug. And while I was sleeping, He gave a little nudge. I noticed, in some quiet times, He stood beneath the tree, Standing Guard, & Keeping Watch, That no harm would come to me. The Dusk was comming, close at Hand, He needed a little snack, So off I went, into the house, To bring him one, right back. This day was filled, with peaceful joy, With My friend who loves out doors, Our Lord has Given these precious friends, That some may just adore.
