"My Dearest Brother" poetry by Lee It was a lengthy ride on motorcycle, Our trip at Biker’s Week, An old man told his story, That is really kind of sweet. He lived a good life, with his wife, Over fourty-seven years, But she had to go to Heaven, And he was lonely in them Tears. He returned unto his birthplace, To where his sister lived, And after a loving vist, There was a note she had to give. My Dearest brother, I ask this favor, For I have a special friend, Could you give a little visit? She is just around the bend. There he met his true Love, He was thirteen, When she was Nine, You’re too old, said her parents, So he left his Love behind. But now his eyes are gleaming, Just Like the Morning Sun, He found his precious, tender love, From when they were so young. He took her Home to Jacksonville, To the place they now reside, A very precious couple, Two Sweethearts, side by side.
