"Hi Old Friend" poetry by Lee midi by Lee It was march 14th, When I wrote her my first letter, She' s the prettiest lady in Middleburg, Maybe even better. I found her down the road, A couple miles from my place, A good old country girl, Sometimes dressed in fancy lace. With her son, she went to bike week, To get a few biker shirts, Her son loves the pretty girls, And a few pictures never hurt. And I was also down there, In the story of burning rubber, But that was kinda early , Before I knew much of her. One day soon, I hope to meet, This charming friend of mine. May our friendship last forever, Or Until the end of time.
