"Chasing my Wheels" poetry by Lee I was riding my motorcycle, On the way home, As this dog would be chasing my wheels. And if for some reason, An accident would happen, I’d be flipping, My Head over Heels. The boy would be crying, that I killed his sweet dog, While I lie on the pavement so Sick, Surely his tears, Would soon turn to anger, As He approached me, with a Big Ugly Stick. I needed a solution, To avoid this bad fate, On my handlebars, I fastened it Right, I planned to be ready, when he came once again, Then I swatted him, with my pvc pipe. The dog understood me, ever since that one day, Never again, saw him chasing a car. And now when I ride, He is much like a friend, With the gate open, he Stays in his Yard. But to tell my neighbor, that I saved his dog's life, I believe that he would not understand, So now I’m content, as I pass by his place, With His Dog, peacefully, guarding his Land.
