"Hello God" poetry by Lee I need to ask you something, Could you put my Mommy on the phone? Daddy said she's gone to Heaven, It's just me and Daddy here alone. But Mommy told me, before she left, That you could always help me out, She said that God is waiting, for my call, When ever I have doubt. My Dolly broke her arm today, And her arm won't go back on, Is my Dolly gone to Heaven now? Somewhere close to Mom? Daddy said, he will get another one, And maybe a mommy too, But I really liked my old mommy best, And my favorite dolly Sue. I say my prayers, like Mommy said, And I give you thanks each night, But could you send my mommy back, In the dark, she calms my fright. God, I Really need an answer, Is my little phone still broke? Daddy just calls the operator, So maybe there's still hope. I've gotta go for supper, Then I'll call you once again. Please send my Mommy & my Dolly Home, My very bestest friends.
