"Age Old Custom" poetry by Lee In the age old custom of the Indians, Their leader was so wise, He was the center of their knowledge, And the stability of their tribe. And then I look at my family, Somehow it was broke in Half, Danny is the stability, for his Mom, Ben & Rodney rely on Dad. There is light at the end of the tunnel though, We learn from each others ways, The boys learn from Dad’s stability, And Dad has to learn to Date. I found my Love across the River, And Rodney may have found his Love, And Ben is learning to be single again, His friends helping to find him a Hug. Dad is learning to be a kid again, As the kids spread out their Wings. We share our lessons, that we learned in life, In trying to do the right things. Our Lord is High in the Heavens, His angels, guiding us to what is right, So we may spread Our Angel Wings, When we Finish this Earthly Life.
