Visitors Day

Visitors Day
Writings by Lee
music by Lee
It was June 30th 2002, when I went to see a friend,
Our laws become so frivolous, Jails are the beginning, to be our end.
During my visit, A little woman, Came to see her man,
And what, little crime, has he comitted, I will never, understand.
I saw her little face, so sad, from the window across the way,
Her life seem dimmed, like the cloudy skies, and the threatning rain that day.
The inmates finally entered the room, with windows all around,
And that little woman, came to life, as if her wings, were Heaven bound.
Her smiles were bright, her chatter so gay, Her Love, lit up the room,
They become young, like little children, as their expressions danced in tune.
Who has done the greatest crime? Was it the judge, who put him there?
Or was it just, one of them crazy laws, Of the many, that are unfair.
Only Our Lord understands this world, And the laws, created by man,
But one day, I Hope to Live with God, in the Heavens, beyond this Land.
