The sky was so pretty, The weather so fine, My Lord's treasured, little beauty, on a day, so divine. As if Heaven surrounds us, Hearing the flutter of wings, And beautiful music, As the Angels begin, The stars soon appeared, And what a beautiful sight, The sky filled with candles, Of the angels that night. The clouds drifting over, as they snuggle the moon, Our hearts keeping the beat, with the angels sweet tune. We just drifted about, under God's spacious night sky, We just, had not the words, or the thoughts of good-bye. Twas morning's red sky, as we had to depart, A lump in our throat, And a pain in our heart. But God saved the next day, for us to return, Forever will our candles, til eternity, still burn, Just one internet letter, that I needed to write, And Our Lord blessed us forever, as Husband & Wife.
