Where children look for security, Parents salvage what is left, And someone gets the short end, And love is put to test. You were left out Undeserving, Mom, When Daughter turned away, But to face abuse, from husband's drink,. No Longer, Could You Stay. We wish no harm, Dear children, But the tides may turn again, Daughter will in time need Mom, If not too late by then. Mom seems to know them little things, That Dads don't understand, And Mom will carry Her Love inside, Until she leaves this empty land. When you say your prayers at night, I hope you Pray that God will comfort Her, The Love & Stories, she has given you, Will Guide you through the worst. And if your world has turbulence, And you know not were to go, Mom will be doing needle point, But You're Always Welcome Home.
