We Think of Thomas Alva Edison, In creating a bulb of light. What would happen, if he Quit, Before he got it right? Is your light bulb gonna work? "I think I'm Getting Close," "Only 932 elements, That just faded into smoke ." He continued to press onwardly, Writing his findings down, Recording all the qualities, In each element, that he found. He noticed the metal, Tungsten, Surely seems the best, But with Oxygen, He discovered, It becomes a burned up mess. If I could clear away the oxygen, And take out all the air, A glimmer of fine promise, May still be waiting there. So has Begun the Era, Of the first electric light, And your guidance of today, As you walk into the night. So when you look at failure, Don't let it make you cry, Failure has yet not come to you, Unless You Did Not Try.
