Graphics by Sherrie Poetry by Lee Don't Stop Daddy I sat my little children, swinging between joined hands, On little times, I had not time to play, in the outside sand. Swinging them, between my legs, till they nearly touched the sky, The ceiling, for a little one, was nearly just as high. Can I pull the chain & turn on the light, so new? There's another one, & can I turn the fan on too? We rolled & wrestled, & played some Hide & seek, Then, is when I noticed, that I'm Just a little weak. Son, You sure look tired, Do you want a little rest? Don't stop Daddy, I'm not tired, were just getting to the best. It sure was good, they came, when I was so very young. As I got older, I slowed down a bit & wasn't nearly as much fun. But some how, as grandpa, God gave me strength again, And now my little grand daughter, asks me, my favorite little friend. Don't stop Papa, I'm not tired yet, & I need not any rest, We are having so much fun, & we're just getting to the best.
