Heaven's Gift
Oh Lord of Heaven,
Please Bless this lovely maiden,
Who has come upon my path.
She was all I ever hoped for,
And So Much better than I asked.
You blessed me with her kindness,
Those memories I cannot erase,
My ever loving companion,
Who made this world, a better place.
I'm sure you had your reasons,
That now she's gone beyond,
I ask your kindly help, My Lord,
Each day now lasts so long.
I look upon the heavens,
So my wings may soar as high,
To be your worthy angel,
With my lovely maiden, by my side.
Please make me strong enough,
To Bring my Family to Heaven's Gate,
For life is quickly passing,
And Before the sunset, gets too late.
I wish upon the heavens,
That I may be as good,
To be your earthly angel,
And to teach my family, as I should.
