Background From: A Time To Believe Saddle Sores Poetry by Lee Saddle Sores & Calluses, were riding on my Seat, As I traveled the nightly air, to beat the Summer Heat. Rain & Lightning were dashing, all across the Soggy Road, While riding that antique motorcycle, with an awfully Heavy Load. I was Looking at the Rising Ridges, of the Mountains Far & High, Checking out the lovely Heavens, While lightning Streaked the Sky. Towns were lit up so brightly, like Christmas Trees at Night, As God bestowed the Heavenly stars, Glowing Oh so Bright. Our Lord held out His guiding light, of the brightly Silvered Moon, As I listened to the angels, playing to the Drummers Tune. I was told there is no God, by the atheists all Around, I guess they’ve Been all Blinded, Searching Heaven, Underground. For anything quite so spacious, as the Glittery Stars so High, Just had to be created, by our Lord Above the Sky. So If you see them Fireballs, Shooting beyond the Sun, God is pitching Baseball, While the Angels hit Home Runs. So Gaze into the Heavens, Where Our Lord lives High Above, He’s Sharing with the Angels, His Gifts of Precious Love.
