60th Anniversary

60th Anniversary
Poetry by Lee

As I went to see my Parents,
On their 60th of Wedding Anniversarys,
Troubled times were left behind,
And there were no advisaries.
I coppied some of my silly stories,
On a cd and a tape,
A little something, just from me,
Made to appreciate.
My oldest sister has two kids,
That grew up just a bit,
Her little girls have grown so much,
With some of their own little kids.
My youngest sister, has two sons & a daughter,
And little ones all of their own,
Time has surely passed me by,
Oh My, How much, that they have grown.
My oldest Brother with five of his own,
And a daughter has already Six,
She won't get too old and lonely,
For her children may play their tricks.
My little brother has just two,
And some grand children running the grounds,
And even me, with three little boys,
I'm grandpa, twice around.
My Mom is just like a young spring chicken,
At the age of 79,
And Dad in his years of 81,
Tries his best, not to get left, behind.
Andy & Junilla Geiger's family,
Where First, I made my start,
Though there were quarrels, in the past,
That's where you'll always find my heart.
Our Lord has Richly Blessed them,
With Heavenly blessings from far above,
And even the troubles,That were left behind,
Have not tarnished My family's Love.
So Give your heart to your Family,
And remember Our Lord above, so High,
To Earn Our Wings, from Our Father's Love,
For the journey, across the sky.
