Tall Trees Poetry by Lee As I Sit beneath the great pine trees, Thoughts linger on my mind, Cheerful voices from just next door, Their little sounds are so divine. And puppy dogs across the way, Send warnings of unknown friends, Nature runs in peaceful spendor, As our day nears to its end. Our life is but a glance of time, Before our children take our place, May mistakes, we make on earth. Be given Goodness to replace. And when its time to leave this world, Though we tried, to pass the test, We reap rewards, from Our Lord in Heaven, To Where His love is Truely Blessed.
