Happy New Year Poetry by Lee Happy new year my darling, What a pretty day it is today, The snow is falling delightfully, while the kids are, out to play. I only wish, I could be with you, On them cold and lonely nights, Rubbing noses, at the window pane, with the fireplace glowing bright. Your smile is my sunshine, your hug so softly Warm, I could cuddle with you, every night, until its early in the morn. What fun may we have together, as our kids are sprouting wings, As they bring us little grandchildren, and they first begin to sing. May our Lord shine upon us, the goodness we have to give, May he always make us fruitful, in the life we have to live. Your kindness is a treasure, your love is truely sweet, My heart will pitter patter, every time we chance to meet. My Darling I surely thank you, as we planned to be just friends, May our Love, last forever, until eternity comes to end. Would you share with me forever, until we rest on the quarter moon? Watching grandshildren from the Heavens, growing up so very soon. You Are my Heavenly treasure, A blessing from God above, An angel come from Heaven, and my friend, where I found Love.
