"My Dearest Jersey Friend" Poetry by Lee I was searching for my sweetie, My precious honey pie, I only hoped to find her, Before the day that I may die. I asked my Lord in Heaven, To help me find my Love, A link has come by internet, Of my Angel from above. I sent a little email, And read her feelings on the net, I thank my Lord in Heaven, For the Angel, that he sent. We talk about the little things, And the snow that gets away, I dream about the distant summer, That may I come to stay. And I hear about her daughters, And her little furry friend, We give each other hugs, And many kisses that we send. Nearly every night, we seem to write, And many times even more, To the sweetest little Angel, And the one that I Adore. So many times I wonder, If our love will ever end, But how may I ever live, Without my Jersey friend. We walk across the internet, And share in holding hands, Just me and my little Angel, Where our love has now began.
