"For Ever More" Poetry by Lee Nancy is the greatest mom, With four girls to keep her young, Morning is that time of day, When the bathroom chores are done, They peck their brows, And brush their teeth, And the spray is in the air, They powder, and use blow dryers, While brushing out their hair. Saturday is adventure day, To help the sickly with a smile, To grandmas, and maybe shopping, And to God's House, for a while. At night, they clean up the house, And mom kisses each goodnight, And then I hear, "I Love You" Until there is a silence in the night. Starting Sunday, in the bathroom, The rush is on again, Doing their womanly duties, Before their day began. A little more adventure, Or to a movie they may go, Time to tidy up the house, When they finally get back home. The tube begins to light, To watch their Wrestling game, And Please do not interrupt, For I fear, you may just die in vain. Evening comes so quickly, As four angels are gone to bed, Never to forget, "I Love You", As those little words are said. Until the earth has lost it's sunlight, And the sands have left the shore, Mom's Love soars through Eternity, And beyond, for ever more.
