"Rose Garden" Poetry by Lee In the Rose Garden of Tranquility, Was the prettiest sight I've gone, The home of my Jersey Angel, Where my heart now sings it's song. I have found my inner peace, From the inscriptions, that she writes, And perhaps, in the future, We will share our winter nights. Her little hugs, are so inviting, Her voice, so soft and clear, As I reach out, to my Darling, My Sweetest, Lovely Dear. My dreams are filled with memories, Of her letters, sent to me, My Darling little Angel, From the shores of the Jersey Sea. In Heading for excitement, Mom and daughters, make their run. But Heed her ample warning "Look out Manhattan, here we come." I will never know, what is ahead, In the vacation comming near, Sharing time, with The Daughter's Gang, And their Mom, so very dear. As I approach a new beginning, And the Love, I yearned so long, I only hope, that I found my family, In a place, where I belong.
