"My Friend" Poetry by Lee My friend is all the world to me, Each day we share some cheer, And sometimes little troubles, May cause some awful tears. She seems to understand me, Though I seem so strong and tough, But one little tear may just reveal, A softly loving touch. We talk about our kids, The troubles we help them through. Sometimes, we have to wait & see, To decide just what to do, God made us Guardian Angels, Of our kids,we love so much, And sometimes, then we wonder, Was the help we gave enough? We have one chance to be a parent, While others say we're wrong, Then God forgot the instruction book, When our kids 1st come along. We tell them what we know, For an understanding in the end, And we share our love, together, With Our very special friend.
