"Seven Seas" Poetry by Lee Art by Trice The Captain of the mighty ship, Was Land bound, for some supplies, His Shipmates Foraged the forest, As Captain rested his weary eyes. He sat afar, of the distant shores, Watching the waves, against the beach, His tired bones, of so many years, Felt the rays of the Sun's great heat. The crew called for their captain, And no where, could he be found, They feared the animals of the forest, May well, have taken him down. The Captain sat there for many years, His eyes gazed upon the shore, His hair grew limbs, streaching far & wide, Like no other has done before. They say that the tree, looks like a man, Or is he a man, of the seven seas? But Legand has it, he has taken root, And is counted among the trees.
