"Thank God" by Lee I have spent many years trying to pursue my dreams, it began as a little boy, if I only had a little sister to play with. Well, I almost got my dreams, my father tried to adopt one, but all was lost & 15 years later I married the same girl. For 23 years we raised our kids, and stood beside each other, until the annoyance of other men, were in the background, & her desire, to own the world, kept me lost in a credit world, with no way out. She couldn't understand my depression of why it dosent bother me, to work so hard and see no accomplishments in all of my efforts, so she found a new man, and salvaged me from the world of poverty for the rest of my life. After being lonely for three years, I chanced for a 2nd try of the fairy tale ending, of Happiness for ever after, and married a school teacher, who was a little over her head in debts, from a passing con artist. She loved me, and was a dream of a lifetime, until I ran out of money. Then she had a new man as quick as you could order one from the Sears & Roebuck catalog. So I decided that marriage may be a bad idea, & invited a cute little passing hippie into my home. She loved her drugs, & her non fat diet, that left her with a lack of nutrition, I figured that she could easily die of either one. So finally I had to ask her to find another friend to stay with, for she felt that since she has taken a few college courses, while chasing the boys, she was an educated woman, who does not need advice. By now I began to fear the possibility of a commitment, that maybe God has considered the ultimatum, that my time has not yet come, and since a friend of mine, sent me this little picture, I may just consider this option, To "Thank God for what I have, And Trust God for what I need."
