"Mosaic Carpet" poetry by Lee Its been a while since my parents took a trip, Cruising on the highways, vacations were real hip. As we see the worldly wonders, we get tired on them times And home becomes our refuge, the haven of our lives. One day it seemed a miracle, cruising down the road, Someone had some carpets, I'd say an overload. My mom paid nearly nothing, for the mosaic on her wall That was before the husband said, please don't sell at all. Yet Jesus is our Shephard, as this carpet is in view, It seems the priceless treasure, to remain forever new. Our Lord may smile brightly, as faith relies upon His Son, As we'd love to share his palace, once our world is gone & done.
