Hello over there!
I just heard from Human Rights Watch Sweden that they called the Ontario RCMP Headquarters and were told they needed to ask for a specific office. They then asked to be transferred to the Hamilton headquarters. An officer there named Keven McCallen (spelling?) new nothing and would not say anything other than the OPP were handling the “land dispute” and they should be contacted. The receptionist at the Haldimand County O.P.P. would also not give any information other than saying that Constable Paula Wrigh, media relations, was handling calls but she was on the road. The receptionist would not give out Paula’s phone number nor email address, but would only transfer messages. After wondering why a media relations person could not be contacted and asking if there was anyone that could be spoken to for an update, the receptionist asked the caller from Sweden to hold, though after a couple minutes never returned.
Stay strong!
miles.
