Will of Anthony Spade

Late of Brush Creek Township Deceased


Know all men of these presents that I Anthony Spade Sr. of Brush Creek township, County of Fulton and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time hereto for made.

First, my will is that all my past debts, funeral expenses and the costs of proving this my last will and testament be fully paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as possible.

Second I will and bequeath to my wife Rose D. Spade all my personal property money notes for her own use. Also she is to have one-third of all grain grown on the farm, one third of potatoes and apples all to be delivered in the bushel. Also she is to have three rooms in the house we now live in of her own selection for her use.

Third, I will and bequeath to my son (Benjamin) Franklin Spade all my real estate that I now own situated in Brush Creek Township Fulton County Pennsylvania, he to pay to my other heirs the sum of Five hundred dollars to be paid to them as follows,

To John G. Spade Twenty five dollars ($25.00)

" Joseph Spade Seventy four dollars ($74.00)

" Charles H. Spade Seventy four dollars ($74.00)

" Christian W. Spade Six dollars ($ 6.00)

" Anthony Spade Jr. Seventy four dollars ($74.00)

" George Spade Twenty five dollars ($25.00)

" Jacob Spade Seventy four dollars ($74.00)

" Nathan B. Spade Seventy four dollars ($74.00)

" Wm Spade Seventy four dollars ($74.00)



The above sum to be paid within one year after the death of my wife Rosie Spade without interest.

Lastly I nominate and appoint my son Franklin Spade executor of this my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I Anthony Spade Sr. have to this my last will set my hand and seal this 20th day of August A. D. 1901.

Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Anthony Spade Sr. as and for his last will in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the said testator and of each other.
