Lewis, Marvin Clyde 'Tex'
(1947 - 2004)

Tex served our country in the Army National Guard in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He also served in the Reserves. He completed basic training in Georgia, and was deployed to Baltimore during the Civil Rights movement when they came very close to having riots in Baltimore. On one of his two-week summer stints in the Reserves, they had Tex stringing telephone wire to telephone poles.
