Welcome to our Spade Family in America web page honoring our (deceased) descendants and the spouses of Spade descendants of Anton and Rosina Dorothea (Wolf) Spade who have served the United States in our armed forces. Spade family descendants have honorably and courageously served in the military from the Civil War to the present.

This family will NEVER FORGET the sacrifices and patriotism demonstrated by our sons and daughters--either active, guard or reserves--and their immediate families. Spade, Stanley Anthony
(1928 - 2000)

Stanley proudly served our country in the United States Army Air Corps, which later became the United States Air Force in 1947. When he was seventeen years old, in 1945, he had his mother sign the enlistment papers for him because he was underage. He retired with 20 years of service in 1965. His military specialty was aviation electronics. He served our country in Korea, Japan, Omaha, Neb. and retired at Andrews AFB near Washington, D.C.
